We just wrapped up a full Rain Bird IC irrigation system installation at Dearborn Hills Golf Course, and we couldn't be prouder of how it came together. Big shoutout to Riley and the whole crew - this was a serious job that demanded real skill and a lot of hard work from start to finish.
That trailer piled high with old components tells the whole story of what we pulled out. Decades of wear, outdated parts, fittings that had long past their useful life. When an irrigation system gets to that point, you're not fixing problems one at a time anymore - you're fighting a losing battle. A full system swap-out is the right call, and that's exactly what Dearborn Hills did.
The Rain Bird IC system is one of the best in the business for a reason. It gives course managers individual head control, meaning they can dial in water delivery at each sprinkler - no more guessing, no more overwatering one section while another goes dry. That kind of precision matters when you're responsible for keeping fairways and turf conditions at a high level all season long.
Getting a system like this in the ground takes coordination. Trenching, pipe runs, head placement, wiring - it all has to come together cleanly or you end up with headaches down the road. Our crew understands that, and they put in the work to do it right. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every golf course irrigation installation we take on.
Whether a course needs a full system overhaul or is dealing with an urgent irrigation issue mid-season, this is the kind of work we do every day. Courses don't have the luxury of going days without water - turf conditions can go downhill fast. We get that, and we show up ready to get it handled.
